CARLON BROWN
FOUNDER; SENIOR TRAINER
Coach Brown, founder and lead trainer of Point Advising Training, holds an MS in Psychology and brings a championship-level résumé to every session. He played professionally in Europe, the G-League, and the NBA, winning titles in the German BBL, Pac-12, and Mountain West, and led Israel, one of the top leagues in the world, in scoring. He has also faced real adversity, including six surgeries, one of which ended his playing career. That experience shapes how he trains and mentors athletes today.
“I have a true passion for the game of basketball as it’s allowed me to push myself to my highest capacity and, in turn, allowed me to give back and inspire the next generation to be the greatest they can be.”
He’s a husband, father, and lover of golf, pickleball and travel.

He started his own AAU team and helped lead St. Mary’s (Phx) to a 4A state championship as an assistant coach. Josh has mentored several D1 players such as: Bear Cherry (UNLV), Garrison Phelps (UTAH ST.) , Dylan Anderson (U of A), and Mehki Mason (Washington).
